Cystatin C (Advanced Kidney Screen) with Glomerular Filtration Rate (EGFR)

Cystatin C is a protein produced by cells throughout the body and used as a marker of kidney function.

Elevated levels of cystatin C may indicate reduced kidney function or impaired renal filtration.

This biomarker is particularly useful in detecting early stages of kidney disease when creatinine levels may still be within the normal range.
